This month has been a busy one for Hotdrop, especially as two of our Hotdrop team members were recognised in national and international award ceremonies throughout the month.
Joe Kent, Hotdrop’s Head of Creative, was given an honourable mention in the MCV 30 Under 30 awards ceremony at the start of November, following on from Heather Dower’s inclusion in the list in 2021. On top of that Heather, our Founder and CEO, took second place and was highly commended at the Global Women in Marketing Awards Ceremony in the ‘Best Leader in Marketing’ category which saw her celebrated along with marketing brands from across the globe.
Women in Marketing (WiM) CIC is a network created to educate, inspire, connect and recognise women in marketing and associated professions through the cycle of their lives. The WiM Awards were created to celebrate the women who are leading the way in the marketing field and are having a global impact in their respective industries.
The ‘Best Leader in Marketing Award’ was summed up as follows:

This is open to client-side and agency professionals who can demonstrate how their leadership impacted the performance of their organisation, their staff, their clients and their customers, their products and/or services and their bottom line.

On the night Heather was ‘Highly Commended’ in the category alongside other global agency brands and leaders. This recognition showcases the hard work and dedication that Heather has put into Hotdrop since when she founded it three years ago. We couldn’t be more proud!
The MCV 30 Under 30 Awards puts the spotlight on the best and brightest young talent that the industry has to offer. It is designed to showcase how up-and-coming younger talent is shaping the industry and highlights names for other industry professionals to keep an eye on.
Joe was placed in the honourable mentions list alongside other young professionals from companies such as Indigo Pearl, Epic Games, and Excel Esports. His inclusion is a testament to his growth as the Head of Creative at Hotdrop and shines a light on the high-quality creative design work that he and his team produce day in, day out.
