Twitch and Porsche tasked us with bringing a real-life RPG experience to the Formula E audience by creating bespoke live show assets for the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team.

Based at one of the training tracks owned by Porsche, the live experience saw two influencer hosts complete a series of tasks and challenges with the assistance of the Twitch community to gain valuable XP and help level up the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E team.

Thanks to clever stunt driving and inspiration from beloved game mechanics, it delivered an exciting, entertaining, and engaging event that drew in 1.5 million views.

We crafted a unique, gamified graphics package that incorporated the existing TAG Heuer Porsche Formule E Team Brand and the event’s RPG theme throughout the user interface (UI). For the user experience (UX), we illustrated and developed a wide range of bespoke icons to simplify the complexity of the levelling up system clearly to Twitch viewers, making it more accessible and increasing the likelihood of live fan uptake.

Twitch users were able to interact with the graphics we produced to determine and direct the stream’s live content, further connecting fans and viewers to the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team.

This year, the activation also won “Best Interactive Video Campaign” in the European Video Awards 2022 for its innovative use of live viewer interaction, which utilised the graphics packages we produced for the product.
